WELCOME

The Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) has the pleasure to announce the 1st International Symposium on Wound Healing 2019”.

This in-Cuba wound healing basic science meeting could be the first of a long series of events that aspire to join the efforts of Cuban, American and elsewhere scientists, and clinicians devoted to the science of healing wounds from all the perspectives of the specialty. We are committed with our efforts to turn this meeting in a unique opportunity to set the grounds for join, intense collaborative research efforts, with the aim to contribute to the health and quality-of-life of our peoples.  With this meeting we expect to join under the same and single roof, people with inspiration and creativity in an informal and friendly environment.

Wound Healing 2019 will be held from November 20-22, 2019 at Havana Cuba.

Abstracts for Oral Presentations:

Abstracts for Oral Presentations must be written in English and should not exceed 250 words. Abstracts should be emailed to the organizers like a Short Report as follows:

Arial 11pt font and single line spacing.
Title: 100 characters (not including spaces).Bold.
Authors: 110 Characters (not including spaces). Only Last Name, followed by initials, in italics (Perez, C)
Affiliations: Each author should be listed by department, institution, city, and country.
Body: single paragraph no more than 1500 characters long (including spaces). Text alignment should be justified.
Do not include Tables, figures or Graphs.
Email address of the presenting author is required.

CIGB

Synthetic Peptides 2019 is organized by the Biomedical Research Branch of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB).

The CIGB is located in the west side of Havana City and together with other nearby scientific research centers integrates what is best known as the 'west Havana scientific pole'. This research center was opened in July 1st, 1986. During these more than 25 years several new vaccines and pharmaceutical drugs for human health has been developed and are currently in use in the Cuban Health System. The CIGB is 15 minutes from José Martí International Airport and 20 minutes from Havana downtown by car. The geographic position of CIGB is showed with a red circle in the map below.
