Biotecnologia Habana 2009 - ICGEB Registration Fee Grant

A limited number of Registration Fee grants will be available for graduate students, PhD students and young researchers, limited to ICGEB member states. Eligibility is exclusive to resident nationals of the countries indicated below. Applicants should be registered as students from institutions from any of the ICGEB member states, or be within five years of having completed a PhD thesis.
Awards will only be made to persons traveling from their current country of residence. The registration fee grant is hold by the organizers. Requirements for Biotecnologia Habana 2009 Registration Fee grant To be eligible for this grant program, individuals should apply with an abstract, a 1-page curriculum vitae and one official letter of recommendation signed by the Head of the Department. The candidates should include with the application their full name, full address, phone and fax numbers and their e-mail address. All applications must be made via the application/registration form.

Biotecnologia Habana 2009 - ICGEB Young Investigator Award

All abstracts with graduate students or postdoctoral fellows, from ICGEB member states, as first authors will be subject to scientific evaluation by selected members. The best 5 abstracts will receive the "Biotecnologia Habana 2009 -ICGEB Young Investigator Award". Full registration fee, including 4 nights accommodation will be provided. To be eligible for this award, individuals should also apply with an abstract, a curriculum vitae (one page) and one letter of recommendation. The candidates should include with the application their full address, phone and fax numbers, their e-mail address and an I.D. photo.
