The CIGB Biomedical Research Branch invites you to attend the 2nd Symposium on Viral Hepatitis, which is going to be held from May 19th to May 23rd, 2016.

After the successful experience with I and II Immunotherapy of Viral Hepatitis meetings in 2005 and 2007 and the 1st Symposium on Viral Hepatitis Varadero 2014, the 2nd Symposium on Viral Hepatitis Varadero 2016, is also being organized with a wide scope. This is the second of a bi-annual series of meetings that aim to gather top international researchers focused on the complete spectrum of Hepatitis B and C virus research, from viral pathogenesis to immune therapy, including immune response evaluation, animal models and advances in prophylactic and therapeutic vaccine development.

checkSpecial attention will be delivered to HeberNasvac, the First Therapeutic Vaccine against Chronic Hepatitis B, which got the Cuban Registration on December 2015. International partners for HeberNasvac Generium (Russia), Abivax (France), Xinkexian (China) will also attend the meeting.

The symposium also includes a space dedicated to HIV and other relevant virus co-infections and a commercial fair organized by our sponsors. It is our intention to additionally provide an adequate environment to promote scientific collaboration and interaction between scientists attending this meeting.

Hepatitis 2016 will be held from May 19th to May 23rd 2016 at Iberostar Laguna Azul Hotel in Varadero, Cuba.

Information on these and other International Meetings organized by the CIGB's Direction of Biomedical Research for 2015 – 2016 can be found can be found here.

Speakers

During the last years it has been a practice that Invited Speakers register online. It is not mandatory, but rather an altruistic personal contribution to sponsor the participation of Delegates that otherwise would not have the necessary funds to attend the meeting. We thank in advance all Invited Speakers for registering online.
